No conspiracy here. While Bin laden may not have acted like a Muslim that is what he called himself. The US cannot risk offending anyone, even over someone as evil as Osama. Not to mention what country wants he remains? If he was buried on land there would be a place for other terrorists to worship him (crazy people think alike i guess) and we dont want that now do we.

I read today that they have changed their story to say that he was in fact not armed when he was gunned down and that he was using someone as a human shield. Now, we as a country say we are better than the terrorists. (i.e we don't torture, or kill innocents) AND we have a little thing called due process. Even Saddam was given a trial.

According to one documentary, skeletal remains thought by the Russians to be Hitler's were buried and moved seven times over a number of years before they finally ground them up and flushed them into the sewer system. You have to have been in combat arms for a little while to decipher the BS they release on TV. Saddam was handed over to Army SF. If they wanted Bin Laden alive, they would have sent in Delta Force with bat boy support. Seal Team 6 often trains daily to do this kind of stuff, shooting off 2500 rounds per man. There was only one way this was going to end with that unit on point.
I'm not sure they apply due process to terrorist. They are considered enemy combatants, but not covered by the Geneva covention, because they are not fighting for any particular country.

No but many friends who are. I asked my primary Dr in Particular she was a resident at the hospital nearest the World Trade Towers and she didn't leave the hospital for over a week! She looked at me and said "it doesn't bring those people back" and the sadness in her eyes made me want to cry myself. My Dr. is one of the most caring people you will ever know and she never really lets "her" emotions show it's always about the patients I know most days she is at at the office from 0800 to 2000 when the office closes at 1700. Just seeing for a moment the raw emotion in her eyes made me wish she didn't have to relive it again. She is one of my heros.
I have another friend a co-worker at Universal I haven't gotten to ask her side of the story yet due to being out for surgery. But, from past conversations she too was a Resident at the same hospital. Instead of going on to become a Dr. the pain was so much she couldn't in good conscience stay in medicine.
I would love to do a paper on this I'm a psychology major and seeing too people whom I both have a strong respect for go on such different paths when confronted with a tragedy.
