Post by: eero on May 04, 2011, 08:19:54 AM
Which one is the loudest and which require a re-jet?

Loudest is probably my Vance and Hines. I want a Yoshi - wanna switch? :)

They all require a re-jet. I'd probably guess the yosh would be the only one that may not.
Cool.

Not really a fan of v&h's skinny exhaust look.

Although not in person, I have heard sound bites of many cans and the 2 best ones IMO are:

Yoshi
&
Scorpion

I dunno ... the floats could have worn high and hence be richer than stock to just about be OK.
The pipe alone is 1 jet size up, the air filter is more like 10 up, so you could be fine with pipe ...

I have to agree that the V&H is a bit loud. The Jardine and wyleco are quieter and deeper sounding. Looking at changing Junior from V&H to something else, maybe a Jardine. (Anyone want a V&H complete system with only a couple hundred miles on it?)
