As the title says, last night I found out that I can't quite lean as far as I used to be able to after I changed my exhaust

And now I've ground off a bit of my shiny new exhaust :2guns:

That sucks man. I've got some scrapes on my Yoshi RS-3, but that was a result of me thinking that there was not ice in the middle of February. Is there any way you could put a picture from farther back so we can see how high the pipe is relative to the ground?
this is the best photo i have at the moment

The bottom bolt is the one that is in the other photo, i'll take a better photo tomorrow if i remember after work
Looks good and mounted right to me. Clamp lines up with the bolt hole.
You are just too advanced for your bike, must have been performing some crazy leaning & turning.
Good job
Did it scare you or did you notice it when it happen?
Hope to get that good one day to, I am still working on it.

It looks to be mounted correctly, just it's a bit bigger so sits a bit lower,'well that's what I think lol.
I like to practice my turning and just see what the bike can do, while the roads are very quiet, at night.
I was going through a roundabout, it scared me a little cus the back tyre lost traction when the exhaust scraped(maybe it levered up the wheel a bit?), but all is well, I learnt how far I can lean and can now scrape both pegs/ boots :thumb:
How about a little more rear preload on the spring? :icon_eek:
Damn, you must have had that thing practically parallel to the road surface for that to happen. Never had an issues with mine/kat rear.
It's crazy how those kinds of things can make a big difference at extreme lean angles. I remember too readying that the center-stand apparently limits left turn lean angles. I only have a side stand but its something to think about if it applies to you.
Operator error ... the Mart3y is thinking he's valentino rossi.
On the street dude you're likely to get serously hurt ... by my house there is an awesome right turn (OK that's a lie its a traffic light) but the right turn lane if you were anywhere near the right 1/2 of the lane, they is a nice smooth edged depression. The thing is in a car you would usually straddle it and never feel it. So if you drove that way many times and then come to it on a bike, you will misread that and you will be in for a shock. Crap like that is why you dont need to be leaning over enough to scrape the muffler.
Cool.
Buddha.
Or increase your body's lean angle, not the bikes. That's why racers "hang off."

Now that Ive worked out how much lean I can get, even though it's incorrect technique lol, I'm gonna teach myself to "hang off" properly :thumb:
