Alright well as of yesterday(May 11th) i have my first bike a 2006 Suzuki GS500f bought it for 1900$ off of Craigslist.
About myself...I live in Satellite Beach Florida,
I'm 16 love to ride, i recently got a job as a delivery boy on my scooter, love photography, i plan to travel as soon as i get my G.E.D. I live in Satellite Beach Florida.
For the past six months i have been riding a 50cc scooter, Ever since that day i had rode on it i just loved the feeling of riding, Months passed as i looked up different starter motorcycles now the GS500f wasn't my first choice or my second or my third.. in fact it wasn't even on my list... but i realized with my budget and months of "Market Research" i would take whatever bike came my way.. A day before i bought my GS500f i was looking at a 250cc jinlun i was going to buy it on the 11th, that day i searched Craigslist and found of course the GS500f i already knew Suzuki was a reputable company so i looked up some reviews and decided to buy it. The next day we met with the guy had a professional give it a test ride look it over, the usual.. Then he said "Go ahead give it a test ride" i was shocked... i had never ridden a motorcycle before except at the MSF course over half a year ago, so i got on it looked down at the controls, and it baffled me.. i started it hesitantly slowly started to go... turned it around in the parking lot and then he said stop x.x i was so relieved.. but all in all it was fun we bought it and i watched him ride it to my house.

You definitely made a great choice. I bought my 07 about 3 years ago and every year once spring rolls around i'm excited to get it ready and back out on the road. They are great starter bikes and a lot of the maintenance can be done yourself if you pick up a service manual. At some point I'll probably get another bike, even when that day comes, I plan to keep my GS around for some fun rides as well.
haha, yeah i can't wait to actually ride mine on the road :). need to change the speedometer cable, and replace a few indicator bulbs, and get it registered and insured.. then i'll be road ready!
