After 3 great seasons on my GS500 I love so much, I've finally decided to take a BIG step up. I bought a brand spankin' new 2001 CBR929RR Erion Racing special edition for $9,699 ($7,460USD). I was looking for a long-term reliable bike I can keep for many years. I can't wait to pick it up in March. If it wasn't for this board, I would not have gotten the GS500. The GS tought me so much... I will miss her when it's up for sale over the winter.

congrats on the new bike barna...
ride safe..
and do drop by here often.
Damn, that bike is HOT. I'm so jealous, it will probably be many
years before I get one like that
Great bike, very much the bike of choice around here, I test-rode one and the world really does change shape, frightened the crap out of me but them I'm an old crusty. You enjoy it, ride safe, have fun and DON'T FORGET THE HiVIZ. Go!
I think in a few years I will make the step to a CBR600
maybe rr, but it is taller and I have short legs
Why do you have to wait until March for a three year old bike? :?
congrats rrbarna!
Thats a nice ride. Friend had one and it was a bit hard on 250+mi rides but He had a blast on it.
Good luck.
Thanks guys! JamesG, I have to wait until March because winter is here and I still have to sell the GS to make room. I'd rather it stay put in the warehouse until the weather gets better hopefully in mid-March like usual.

Wow, that's a beautiful bike. Congratulations.
Hey, congrats on the new ride. Respect it, or it will hurt you. Don't forget where you came from though, and stop by often! Be safe!
