Yeah I'm going to rebuild her. I need to find a crankshaft and get all new bearings and seals so I can build a good bottom end for her but I'll put a used top end on for now ($) just to get her up and running. That's the beauty of aircooled twins their so easy to work on, no coolant, only 2 of everything, and you don't need three guys to pull an engine, love it..  Ed

how do the walls look?  I'd figure an explosion like that and you'd have to rebore and deck the block.

Yeah it's hard to see in that pic but the Rod destroyed the bottom of the cylinder...  Ed
