I know Triumphs are made in Thailand unless you are in Britain, where they are still made there.

Far more important than where iy is made is the intent of the manufacturer and the designer.
The 80's saw the japanese make bikes that were meant to last last forever.
The 90's saw them build bikes that won races.
And the late 90's and 00's saw them built to break often and be very $ to replace and non serviceable.

Now don't get me wrong, I ain't got a hard on for Thai bikes but here's a slide show of that Tiger factory.

Looking a bit better than the first shots but still reminds me of BSA Small Heath c1960....'cept for the last pikkie.

what about the indian enfields vs teh british ones. or the bmw bikes vs ural? we we know bmw= great msot of the time. as well as the british royal enfields. anyhooback to postwhoring

they make a 250 and a 125 version of that x-speed. I would like to buy one. Looks like just the right amount of tech for me.
A type swingarm so the shock can be low tech.
standard 41mm forks
knockoff honda or drz250 engine
brakes and trellis chromolly frame
light plastic gas tank.
undertail stainless exhaust.
I like it.
