At Your Age?

I don't understand these kinds of comments. It's putting a restriction on what you do/don't do based on your Age. Age is just a number created from some arbitrary counting system. Currently we count Earth revolutions around the Sun, but it could be Venus or Mercury or Mars revolutions. Could be revolutions the Moon makes around Earth. Could be Days. Equinox and Solstice summed up. Anything. The resulting end number determines nothing about your abilities.

One bloke looked at my GS from his Triumph America and told me he was Too Old to ride a sport bike. What does AGE have to do with it? Physical infirmity, yes (one guy I know has a few pins in his knees and he cannot bend his leg enough to be comfy on the GS), but age by itself?

Not having a go at You, personally, TCARZ, merely expressing my lack of understanding and disdain for the "too old" comment I hear all around me.

well it just means that the average person gets sore more easily the older they get, the longer it takes to recover, and the harder it is to stay in shape. i'm only 29 and i'm already noticing things that get more sore than they used to and don't bounce back as fast.
