Title: Can anyone id these?
Post by: shawn on May 25, 2011, 03:03:27 PM
This is a picture of the forks/handlebar's from my parts bike. It's a 1996 GS, but they aren't 'normal'.

Pretty sure that's right, I'll take a look at my bike after I get off work tonight to confirm.

No need to confirm. Your PO just swapped out the original '96 tubies for a top plate off an '89. Looks like stock forks with some other makers front fender on there.

That is the stock 1989 GS upper triples and clip ons. They are rare and valuable to the right person.I refuse to sell the ones that came off my 89 GS.

Yes ... and I think I may be making aluminum tubes for them so you can run fatter grips and ... well lets see ... I got a few for my kat FE's and they are awesome.
Cool.
