Sooo I'm finally trying to unload my bike. I crashed last year and mangled the front end. I was going to put new forks on and fix it up, but I just haven't been able to get myself to do it. Anyways I'd like to sell the whole she bang in one go, but if I can sell the engine without shipping it, that's an option. Anyway I've got it up on craigslist (http://baltimore.craigslist.org/mcy/2406735954.html) too. I'll post more pics/info on request.
13,500 miles on it.
Update: From a GStwinner I'll take $600 or I'm going part it out next weekend. Make an offer on the engine if you're interested in it. I'll make another post if I unload the engine and start parting the rest.
The Good:
Clean title. Insurance never got involved, so it's still clear and I have it.
Frame appears to still be ok. No paint cracking around the welds, and a few measurements suggest it's still ok.
Tank is pretty dented, but still holds gas fine.
Newer tires. Avon Roadriders ~2000 miles on them.
New chain. X-ring (D.I.D.) ~600 miles
New front and rear sprockets ~600 miles
06 Katana rear shock
HEL stainless steal brake lines F & R
K&N air filter
Carbs re-jetted for filter
Still runs-fired it up back in the fall to make sure
Rebuilt front brake caliper ~600 miles ago.
Rebuilt rear caliper ~2000 miles ago
Brake pads F & R and R disk ~2500 miles
The Bad:
Well I crashed it... The front end is pretty much toast, and the very rear is banged up.
The front fairings are gone. I had already removed them prior to the crash. The tail fairings have broken off tabs.
Needs new forks, guages, front axle, levers, mirrors, headlight, taillight, handlebars, battery (got scavenged), possibly front wheel bearings.
The rear subframe is a little bent because I had a rear rack on when it went down.
You'll need a truck or trailer to take it away.
The Ugly:

Eh you can make a lowball offer. It's par for the course. Worst I'll do is get horribly offended and call you names :icon_razz:
$350 and drag it out tomorrow?
edit: g/f got mad.
Beef jerky and two bags of chips?
So no dice? Do I need to take the chips?
got a 43mm front end with chrome rims to go with this
I can be bribed to meet you in VA....
My bag of chips are half eaten now but i could sweeten the deal with a Snickers bar :D

I'll make you a deal on repairing it so you can ride it again
not perfect but ride-able and safe
Nah I'm not going to fix it. Thanks though.
If I can't get 600 this weekend, I'm just going to part it.
