I've recently converted my 2006 GS500F into a naked bike so I've got some parts I'd like to unload. Figured I give you guys first crack at 'em before I put 'em on eBay. Here's what I got:
Headlight with full cowl and windshield. - $85 - One of the tabs has been repaired with JB weld, but it's quite strong. There are hairline cracks where the turn signals mount but they don't really affect anything. (See pics)
Headlight bracket - $40 - Just about perfect
Stock exhaust - $95 - Painted flat black. Some light scratches but in perfect working order. With a fresh coat of paint it would look nearly flawless again.
Full set of gauges, tachometer, speedometer, and all indication lights - $120 - The quick electrical connectors have been cut off but there is plenty of wire left (see pics)
Speedometer cable - $10
Right side engine cover (clutch cover) in very good condition. - $40
Air box with original air filter - $35
Stock handlebars - $20 - They're pretty dirty but in perfect shape.
Inner black plastic piece that goes in between the headlight cowl and the rest of the bike (don't know what you'd call it. Inner fairing? See pics) - $20
Tail light lens - $15
Mirrors - $15 ea
Front turn signals - Complete but have some scratches. + Rear turn signals - one is missing the wiring, the other's is cut pretty short. All 4 for $20

I based all the prices off of what I've seen on eBay.
I'd prefer local pick ups as some of these items are difficult to ship. But if you really want them shipped, PM me and we'll figure it out. Thanks!!!

Right side engine cover in very good condition. - $40
Air box with original air filter - $35

If mastertec01 sale doesn't go through, I'll take the headlight. I'm in Tacoma and can pick up
Headlight and inner faring are sold
Wow. That's a lot of crap to have removed. I don't think I need any of these items, but I kinda wanna see a picture of what your bike looks like now.
Oh yeah, I'll have pics up soon. I've been thinking about doing a vinyl wrap (just something solid, not a crazy pattern or anything) so I was gonna wait till that was done but maybe I'll just put some up sooner.
I'm especially curious about what you did as far as guages go, since you appear to have removed the stock ones?
I'm also interested in learning more about wraps, but am planning on waiting until winter to start the major cosmetic work.
Yeah, that's what I told myself LAST winter and I didn't get anything done! I've been doing some research and looks like the 3M Scotchprint 1080 is the way to go. I was originally gonna do flat black but after getting some samples, I can't make up my mind. I'll be sure to keep ya posted.
Any other takers before I put this stuff on eBay?
On the headlight bracket what do you mean just about perfect? :dunno_black:

I mean that while it is used item (it came off of a 2006 with 7700 miles), it is in like new condition.
Still got a lot of stuff left including that headlight bracket if anyone's interested...
The stock exhaust - pricing it @ 95 bucks - you see em on fleabay for $95 ? did any sell @ 95. Look @ completed listings for the item. Cos that item is near impossible to give away.
Cool.
Buddha.
Yeah, as I'm sure you've seen, recent sales have been anywhere from $40 to $75, and current listings I'd say on average are around $100. The condition of mine seems to be much better than almost all of them. Obviously the one's that have sold for less money are in poor shape.
As I said, I'm open to offers.
So, it is not bent in any fashion then? I ask this because mine is just a fraction bent but enough that it throws off the front fairing. No need me buying another semi bent headlight bracket.
