Title: F headlight connector type?
Post by: bombshelter13 on June 04, 2011, 11:26:52 AM
Hi guys,

I just got an Aztec8 headlight kit, but the default installation method involves cutting the existing headlight connector off of the bike's wiring hardness to attach the wiring for the new light. I'd like to avoid this by making an adapter that lets me hook my aftermarket light to the stock headlight plug.

To do this it looks like I'd need to find a connector that matches the one on the GS500F's stock headlight and splice it onto the pigtail connector provided with the new headlight (don't mind cutting the aftermarket wires, but don't wanna cut the stock ones).

So, what's the name of the type of connector that's on the GS500F's stock headlight? It'd be a bit easier to find a match if I knew what the name of this type of connector was.
