Older GS's are reliable as heck with proper maintenance. The electrical system is usually trash and the carbs almost always need a good rebuild. But if you have the $$, I say jump on it. Usually here in western PA they sell for at least double that.

Here are a couple I saw at Americade... Not exactly my style but good work.

If I had a garage I probably would jump on it. I dont think I need another bike sitting in the parking lot of my apartment. Its damn tempting though....... If i go to look at it I will probably buy it.
