Title: A "will it fit" question
Post by: fraze11 on June 16, 2011, 04:25:38 PM
Sorry, I know these can be hard to answer but I just wanna check and see if anyone knows or can advise.  Will these fit?  As in remove the stock ones and these will be a direct bolt on swap?

Well, these are about the same.  They're 20 bucks including shipping.  So 15+ tax is approx the same...unless what you saw was a set of 4.

Yeah the will fit in the holes. Will probably need some rubber PVC valves to cushion when tightening them up otherwise they will almost go through the hole or flop around. They were a PITA for me because I went all LED. The load balancer, resistor. To me not worth it just get the incandescent sets for the same price.

+1

I got a cheap set of 4 clear case indicators from Taiwan and they work perfect.

I wouldn't buy these. I bought the exact same ones (at least from the picture), I hooked them up and in broad daylight I could barely see them from 10feet away.

If you still want them, I will sell mine real cheap ;)

I didn't think they were bright enough either.I bought clear smoked Buell knock offs with a slightly higher wattage than a standard bulb. They are really bright in the day time.

These are my Buell knock off signals and my Clear Alternatives Yamaha R1 tail light. All were a direct bolt on.

I was looking at the Buell signals, then decided to go with the LED's. I wish I had just stuck with the Buell's :(
