Title: Mirrors fit?
Post by: Soso444 on June 19, 2011, 05:52:43 PM
Does anyone know if these mirrors would fit on my bike? http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/parts/mirrors/shock_racing/universal_led_sportbike_mirrors_black.html I have a 2009 Gs500F. Either way, if these wont fit im looking to find some mirrors with blinkers in them. Any idea where i can find them? Does anyone know how to plug up the hole where the stock blinkers in the front fairings are? Do they make a plug or something?

Mary has mirrors with blinkers. Ask her nicely and she may help you out.

Can't answer your question directly but I got a cheap replica mirror (Emgo, maybe?) which I had to mount on my original bracket. The mounting bracket that came attached to the replica fit the two-hole hardpoint on the fairing perfectly, however, it left the mirror at a really odd angle and didn't match the other side. Significantly different angle, it was shooting up like a dual-sport mirror.

This replica oem part (not oem) officially didn't fit my bike but was compatible with some similar year gsxr according to the shop guy. I bet you'd have a similar problem with those mirrors: they will mount perfectly but may not be at an angle you want.

Buying this cheap replica part saved me around $60 over the real oem part.
