That's fantastic. Where was this taken?
Quote from Reddit poster.
"This is driving on the PA state turnpike about 5 miles outside of Philadelphia. We were traveling approximately 70 mph. The rider continually put his/her head down to read and send text messages. This all took place at an incredibly high speed on an extremely busy road."
It's noone here. We all wear gloves. :thumb:

That is nothing compared to the video that someone posted on the reddit article:

The most ive done is pulled my phone out to check the time. Thats just dumb.
i've talked on my phone while riding before... just flip your chinbar up (modular) and cram the phone in there. Close the helmet, handsfree device!
Looks to be female, so that narrows down the choices. It can't be TooGoofy bc she lives in FL.
From here it looks as if she has her auto pilot set to the "on" position, but I can't be positive about that.
There was a bluetooth helmet setup I saw awhile back that I considered buying. I forget the manufacturer but it looked pretty good.
No one else noticed how the whole picture is skewed vertically? The car, road, wall..etc ....like a scene from the Matrix...right through the center? Maybe it is Neo.. and he's dialing out.

Not only didn't I notice, I don't what the hell you are talking about.

Digital cameras do not take the entire picture at once as with a film camera.
Digital cameras scan the pixels so if the camera is moving a little while the image sensor is being scanned, you will see that effect. Nothing unusual - just the way they work.

Depends if it is CCD or CMOS :)
Appears to be a female.
Besides the texting while driving giving it away, look at the hips, shape of the body... Oh yea, the pony tail with the pink bow in it kinda gives it off also!
get off the phone, and invest in some gear. Never too hot to save your skin from being used as a skin-brake.
Skinbrake. Ha.
I have strapped my iphone to the back of my left hand with gps running. Not on the freeway.

they sell mounts for it, just so you know.
if you ever go down, that screen is cracking and may be driven into you hand jesus-style.
I don't want glass driven into my hand, do you?

I don't think I'll buy a mount for something I have done maybe twice in all my riding. My velcro glove strap holds the ipone to the back of my hand nicely; so hopefully the glove would protect. Otherwise I don't use the iphone while riding. Good point though.
No not me You all know I am a gear Nazi! I don't even talk on the cell while driving the car I pull over in the parking lot and do my business if I do need to make a call while on Flick I put the phone on speaker phone and yell through my helmet. If i get the Money I would like the Element for emergency situations only. I do have speakers in my helmet mainly for music but a couple of times I needed GPS directions and I have a cable I pop into my phone and I can hear the audible directions.
I do have a friend he and his wife has some Scala riders set up and she talks all the time. TBH the only time she wears her helmet is to talk! The other day she drove up I was putzing around with her husband in the garage she pulled up in house slippers! WTF I showed her the pic of my boot a couple of weeks ago and she shrugged it off. I've already told her husband if she wrecks like that she is not getting any sympathy from me!
Mary
But were they Spidi slippers Mary? :icon_mrgreen:
No Frog ones similar to these!
