Title: CBR Rim
Post by: shawn on June 22, 2011, 09:34:13 PM
I was just on eBay and noticed that the 2007-2009 Honda CBR 600RR Rim (item 120738693305) is pretty close, style wise, to our's.

Anyone know if it will work? I have been looking for a 02 Katana rim for a while, and haven't seen any.

Won't fit unless heavy mod. Why do you want a kat rim? Take a SV650 rim instead those are the same (maybe not all generation of SV, but my SV650 rim went on my GS500 easily).

I think sv rims take a 20mm axle. Need 17 for GS, new kat is exact match.
Cool.

Maybe you can use GS bearings in the SV wheel?
I did that to put my Bandit wheel on my GS, it fits perfectly.
