yeah, but not on my bike... Looks like someone on the sv650 forum beat me to the idea. Check out the 650 with the yellow gsxr upper. I'm headed down that path myself, sometime soon hpefully.
Sorry the picture is sideways. That's what a local sv650 ride looks like in socal...so damn many of them.

Hmmmmm, daddy likes!.
One of these things is not like the others...
hehehehe
The only thing I've never like about transplanted GSXR fairings are the ramair intakes that go nowhere. They just leave holes in the front of the fairing you can see thru.
I think it Looks like s.hit

I was thinking that is I used a race fairing I could mount two small headlights in those ram air holes...
I'm with South East on this one. I think it looks like crap also. Looks like he was too cheap to buy the 1/2 fared version in the first place. ASS.
Actually I talked to the guy. He DID buy a half faired model-that gsxr upper mounts right up to the sv fairing mounts. He's got the lowers from the gsxr too-they werent on because he was having them painted. Showed me a picture of them installed. He got a screaming deal considering he got the full set of fairings including all mounting brackets, stays, headlight, etc for $200.
You guys are entitled to your opinion on this one-its not for everyone. For me, it reminds me of the Buells and gives this bike an air of exclusivity and uniqueness. That goes a long way for me.
Alright, so I opened my yap without all the info again. Or should I say ASSumed again? Either way, to each his own!
