You need to take better care of your lawn.
Water restrictions lol. :D
So what's going on at the construction site up the road?
Oh... yeah... nice bike. Thanks for the bike porn :woohoo:
Michael
2 story house.
Actually these are before shots rear fairing is going same colour as tank tank is getting re done and frame is gonna be freshened up with a nice silver flake.
Make sure you show us the After shots. And for good measure, the progress shots like Baltimore GS did when he painted his bike inspired by Van Halen's guitar :thumb:
Michael
Actually where are the good places round town to get decals?

What type of decals? You want some to go under the clear coat?

I think you'll find the decals on Suzuki's are placed Over the clearcoat. Of course, I could be wrong.
Do you want replcement Suzuki decals - or - something else to make your bike custom?
Michael
like these?

Pretty sure my chevrons are under the clear coat on the fuel tank of my GS. The ones on the rear plastics are not though.
If it was me I wouldn't bother about putting them back on. I would maybe get the little Suzuki "S" put on both sides of the tank under the clear but that would be it. But that's me though.
I definitely wouldn't bother about putting the idiot stickers back on that has the tyre info and such on. All you need to remember is Front- 33psi Rear - 36psi and 40psi if pillioning.
Funny enough I have those two items in my watch list. I'd like to have the tank the way it is now with clear over stickers, and on the tail the way it was but clear over the stickers like the tank.
Think I'll turn this into my build thread too now, she is all stripped I got pics at various stages frame n swingarm off to powdercoaters tommorow, the colour is a silver with a metallic flake. Geez she was a hassle to strip down specially on your own took about 8 hrs total to do. While it's all apart I'll do my forks and steering head bearings the old ones were actually rusting, and yeah just checking and tidying up bits and pieces. Just to add I've ordered 0.80mm/kg sonic springs, and waiting for new dust covers and fork protectors so she is gonna be a whole new bike when it's back together. Can't wait
Ok heres photos of the teardown.
