I'm interested in this as well- I plan on buying one soon. Only think I can say is the aluminum muffler needs the mounts TIG welded on. Just something to think about........

Would be interesting to see how one sounds on a GS. I know that they use them a lot on the single thumper Yamaha SR 500/400's.

*edit - Found a not so pretty example on You Tube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju83hCpkweM

Just make sure the muffler is up close to where the stock muffler was or it will drag the ground fairly easily.I also use stainless steel T bolt tube clamps on my exhaust. They don't cost much from McMaster-Carr.Look under hose and tube clamps. My size is bigger than the GS due to me using an muffler and adapter for a Hayabusa. http://www.mcmaster.com/#hose-and-tube-clamps/=cy8kk2
