Title: Will a 04 front wheel rim fit a 98 bike
Post by: silentfoster on June 30, 2011, 03:42:44 PM
Hi guys, first post, new here, new to bikes too...

Can some one answer this question for me?

My front wheel has a small dent, very small but enough to notice some vibration when I ease the throttle a medium-high speed. I do not notice anything up to may be 50mph. I cant find any used wheel for a 98 but plenty of them for newer bikes. I actually found one in almost perfect condition for 25 bucks so I bought it regardless. I havent received yet but I'd like to know if the rim is going to fit, if the rotor needs to be changed too or what modifications I need to do.

Thanks guys.

I love the bike

Yep.Just don't forget to move the dust cover off the GS wheel and put it on the Kat wheel.Lots of crap gets packed into the open bolt holes for the left rotor,if the cover is left off.
