So I'm riding home from work today and the bike starts to buck on an uphill section of highway, but not bad. I move over to the right lane, go down a gear and slow down. It gets worse. I look at my tach, 189 miles. Then I remember that 150 of those were "spirited" and I didn't top off when I reset the last time..... So when I left work and saw 180 I figured I had plenty to get home, nope. I pulled over and found I have just a tad left in the tank. I put it prime, shook her around and putted into the gas station on fumes which was luckily 3/4 mile away on fumes.
Oops!
did you not have a reserve? if you did you had 30-60 miles left...
I run on reserve because my on position doesnt work, clogged or something.

You really should do something about that :)

You under estimate how lazy I am...... ;) If it doesnt present a hazard/ damage to the bike, im very inclined to work around/ live with it.
could be something as easy a a pinched fuel hose. I've done it, fixed it a work infront of the exit gate.

Oh, I can relate to that. I'd rather ride it than take it apart for sure  :thumb:

Yup, on reserve it works fine. Fuel delivery, no flooding of the carbs. I should just look in my tank once and a while.
