Hey,
I am getting a set of rims and brand new tires from a ninja 250, just wondering if theyll fit on the gs. I wanna throw track tires on my current rims and use the 250 rims for everyday use. A friend of mine has a 250 so shell take them if they dont fit, just curious.
If i get no responses ill try and update this thread.
Thanks,
Dan
what year wheels?
they made the ninja 250 since 1986 or so
I believe it's an 05
The Ninja 250 for 07 and earlier had narrow 16' wheels and I wouldn't put those on a GS500 even if they fit. The newer 08 and later Ninja 250 have same size 17" tires and wheels as the GS500 and Ninja 500 currently have and would be suitable if they fit. I don't know what would have to be done to fit them though.
GS500 wheels are really inexpensive. NFI why you'd try to adapt other wheels, except to install wider tires.

actually i prefer ninjas with the 16 inch rims, and you can buy SUPER cheap pirelli tires that stick like glue, it improves your fuel economy around the city, and they accelerate quicker. 16s all the way
for reference ive sold 10 gs500s this year, still have and ride 2 of them, have owned somewhere around 40 of them, and currently have 2 running second gen ninja 500s, and 3 first gen ninja 500s, and 3 ninja 250s. i go through these bikes like water on a hot day. i love them. i dont know everything, but i knows whats i knows
but if you want gs rims i have 2-3 sets for sale
i also have some ninja rims for sale if you want those. and katana rims, and gixxer rims. and ducati.
