As yet I'm not sure pretty much it's a freshen up I'm still deciding on what colour to do my tank and tail.
Update: Tank and tail are being freshened up with metallic black with decals, re - assembly going well had a small hiccup putting the engine back in the frame but it's all going to come together quick now.
Can't wait to see the re-assembly pics!
Ok bike is back together and running but a small problem. The bike is bogging down off the line but above 4 - 5 k it revs out fine. The re assembly pics will be up soon I'm very happy with the finished product. If you can help with the bogging down problem I have a thread in the general discussion.

Ok here we are preparing for primer, naturally I used 2 pak paint in saturn black metallic with a good few coats of clear.

Here we are just before clear coating decals laid on. Keeping in mind base and clear coat was done within a 6 hour period because of the decals I needed to let the base dry otherwise I would have cleared as soon as the base was flashed off.

Well what a job! I've never tackled something so complex on my own before it was fun to do but glad its over and now I can enjoy the bike. Open to questions and querys about anything Im not much of writer so yeah Q&A away.

where did you pick up the oem decals?
The suzuki decals I bought off eBay along with the gs500 ones. The tank decals I had made at a decal shop. They traced the originals.
