Title: New Ride Video - July 14
Post by: mister on July 13, 2011, 05:49:43 PM
This is a run I've wanted to do for a lo-o-o-o-ong time. Finally the stars were aligned, a riding crew gathered and we were off, to the Top of the Bunya Mountain Range. This then is the more scenic downhill return leg.

I really need to find a way to mount my digital camera..... It had the screw in post for the bottom, i guess they make something that will clamp to the bars. I just dont want it bouncing down the road.

Nah. That's the one we did on the 3rd that I texted you about.

@Twism86 There is a thread here somewhere that has link to a place that has all kinds of Clamps for Bars. If you want to experiment yourself, however, a simple clamp can be made with a conduit T piece, a couple of hose clamps and a quarter inch screw (the standard screw size for the bottom of cameras). As shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRpYJtb1rog Of course, this does NOT fully stop the vibration. Plus, it will put stress on the mount within the camera itself. Not the metal thread but the plastic the metal thread sits in. But you can give it a try and see how you go.
