underneath the clamps that hold on the bars, hiding under the bar (until it is removed) and 2 bolts, one on each side, and a nut under the triple.

Unbolt those, and lift off.

Remove everything from your handle bars,then remove the handle bars by removing the two clamps.There are two caps hiding bolts.The caps pop off with a utility knife.Remove those bolts.Some have cotter pins on the bottom nuts.Make sure you remove those or it will mess up the nuts and they'll have to be cut off.Then loosen the eight(4 per side) triple clamp bolts and slide the forks up.This is a little fiddly but go slow and be gentle.

My 89 GS with a 95 Katana 750 front end and CBR F1/F2 clip ons mounted above the triple clamp.
