Title: Tear drop trailer
Post by: ReverseTrike on July 17, 2011, 02:08:04 PM
I was browsing the web... and came across a tear drop trailer. I've been camping before and lately I been wanting to take the bike for road trips and have a place to stay.

Could my bike (a completely stock 1996 gs500e) pull a tear drop trailer? The one I posted weighs 250lbs with 22lbs tongue weight.

Just figured I'd ask.

You could do it but it would accelerate wear on the brake, clutch and tires. If you get caught in strong cross winds you may get blown off the road. There is a lot more people experienced with this on http://www.triketalk.com/forum/trailers-campers-toyhaulers/
