I bought a brand new Bridgestone BT-45 front tire for my 05 GS500F, OEM spec H-rated tire about a year ago and had it stored in my garage. I had planned on putting the tire on my bike at the same time when the rear was being changed this month. Unfortunately, I was involved in a serious accident July 6th and totaled the bike. I now have a new tire, but no bike.....
I am selling the tire for $75.00 firm. I will also include 2 oil filters for the GS500F. I live in the Los Angeles area (City of Montclair, actually) and will sell locally only unless you pay shipping. I will send you high-res picture of the tire upon request so you can see for yourself the condition of the tire. It has never been mounted and is in perfect condition. It even still has the manufacturer sticker on it.

On a side note.... please please please wear safety gear when riding. I am still alive and (semi) well because of the helmet, the TiMax titanium plated jacket, full cover gloves and boots. I will send you a pic of the jacket torn to shred from the impact to the ground if you want to see what sliding on the freeway at 70 MPH will do. Sure made a believer out of me! I only ended up with 3 broken bones and some road rash, but it could have been worse. Even the CHP officer was amazed.
What is the date code stamped on the tire? Posting the date code here will probably help you sell that tire a lot faster; I doubt anyone would be willing to buy it if you DON'T post the code. I don't think you'd need to post a photo of it; just let us know what it is so potential buyers can see the age of the tire.
What happened to your GS? Will the insurance company sell it back to you? If so, you can part it out here and generate some more cash...

The serial number on the tire is PAA2807. So I guess it means 28th week of 07.
My GS500F took a hard fall on the 60 freeway when the front tire caught a "lip" of uneven road surface and flipped the bike out from underneath me. The insurance adjuster said it looked like it was mostly cosmetic damage, then started listing all the damaged parts... and the list went on and on and on.... then said they were declaring it a total loss. I didn't ask if I could buy the bike back. Even if I did, the damaged parts are too extensive.
