Title: Removing headlight assy. on an "F"
Post by: Philomath on July 24, 2011, 02:51:50 PM
Hey all,

I need to remove the headlight assembly on my '06 500F...is it possible to do this without removing the fairing?  I can see the screws that hold it on, but it looks like the top two are also used to mount the fairing to the bike.  I was hoping to remove all the screws and drop the headlight assembly out from the inside.  Any thoughts? (I'll post a pic later on this week to show you why I'm doing this :icon_mrgreen:)

Thanks,
Jim

I'm pretty sure you'll need to remove the fairing.

for sure, you will need to remove the nose fairing and disassemble it to remove headlight unit
