Hey all.
I used to race a GS500 8-9 years ago then got into other things and different bikes.
Just sorta "inhereted" my nephew's 500 and will be putting on the track. Planning on just a couple of races and a couple of track days per year....nothing serious, but who knows where this leads to.
I'll start with stock motor and just slip-on and jet kit, RaceTech stock forks and prob old GSXR shock.
If anyone here has stuff I can use for sale, hit me up. I'd reather help a fellow racer before turning to ebay.

Suspension mods and tires would be the top thing on my list. Should make a much bigger difference than getting a few HP out of the engine. I'm personally running the R6 shock with GSX-R forks -- very happy with the combo. Rear tire is the BT003RS, front is a Michelin Power One V.
Keep an eye on your oil level. :)
