Hey, just wondering, recently when I apply any pressure on my rear brake I can feel it 'tapping', just wondering if what would cause it to do so, and how I can solve the problem, anyone came across this?
There's no squeaking or anything, brake fluid was replaced about 8000km ago (bike has done 26,500km).
Sounds like the rotor isn't true/strait. You could check and see if your rear wheel is aligned properly which might have a chance of helping.
Otherwise take a pencil and hold it close to the rotor while turning the wheel. As the wheel is turning, slowly move the pencil closer. If it is out of true, the pencil will make a mark on only one part but not the whole rotor.
Hopefully you don't need a new rotor because those are pricy!

I agree.Just make sure the pencil doesn't catch one of the rotor holes.
