Hey all ive got a pair of hornee jeans off eBay, tag says there 34 but they actually measure 38. I've taken them to highside leathers and got told it's outside what they do they suggested a Taylor. I'm a bit nervous bout takin it to your run of the mill alteration shop on the count of ruining the Kevlar. Any suggestions? Cheers.
Yeh Hornee jeans are oversized. I purchased a pair in my size and what I did was just wear a belt with them. They were a bit long in the leg too and I am a pretty tall guy. I ended up just getting a pair of Draggin jeans. I use the hornee pair as a pair of over - pants for when I am going out and have to wear dress pants.
I have used a lady who does clothing alterations to mend my leather bike jacket. She was cheap and good. She is located in South Station road near the Booval train station in the old Cambrian hall. It is right across the road from Watermans reality. Could be worth a shot if a belt doesn't work for you.
I'll give her a go yeah belt doesnt do it I'm a 34 and yeah there is at least 4 inches spare.
I used a lady in Grange Rd, Eastern Heights to install a replacement zip in my rain liner. Done in a couple of days - as opposed to the Week+ I was quoted to the seamstress woman opposite flooded Coles. She only has a small shop in that small strip of shops opposite the BP and she's Vietnamese. She was also $20 cheaper than the flooded Coles woman. :thumb:
