Riding to work this past Tuesday.....just crossed the north border from NJ into NY....about 1:55 PM..
All of a sudden the front end went "loose"..... front tire bobbled all over the place. I thought maybe flat tire? Maybe loose gravel? Maybe one of those "tar snakes" in the road.
Pulled over checked everything.....OK ..... Hmmmm?
Next day.... read the paper...

Any word on the old Red Apple Rest? I heard it was condemned a few years ago, but most of my relatives have left the area... so I have to rely on the kindness of strangers for updates...

I remember passing by there many times as a kid riding in the family car...but never stopped in....
My route to NY is a bit west of there now.
