Title: Motocentric tail bag and Joe Rocket Tank bag
Post by: evilimprdr on September 02, 2011, 01:35:59 PM
Alright guys got rid of the GS and went to a cruiser. No need for either of these since they don't work real well with the new bike. These both worked great with the GS. The motocentic bag is just like the cortech tour master, but way cheaper.

Both bags come with strap and rain cover, neither of which have been out of the plastic they came in. Tank bag is blue and the tail bag is black. I'm giving you guys first crack at this stuff before going over to flea bay.

I just bought these less than a month ago and have hardly any use on them.

Forgot to put a price.
$35 for Tank bag
$55 for Tail bag
$80 for both

$10 shipping for either or combined for $10

Only ship to Lower 48 Sorry.

Take paypal and you can check my feedback out on ebay peterbiltguy.

How big is the tailbag. Would it fit college textbooks in it? I don't like using my saddlebags all the time. Plus, I want something that I can throw them in and double as a carry bag too. With the Saddlebag I have to unpack into a backpack. So, yeah.

Not the best but it's the only.

Toogoofy I know for a fact that text books would fit in this. I would say it's bigger than a laptop/courier bag. Here is a link to Motocentric's site about the bag. I will say if you compare to the cortech bag the dimensions are basicly the same, but motocentric claims it has more liters. I'd disagree, but I've seen both bags next to each other and the are basicly the same bag size and everything.

Let me know if you have anymore questions. Would love to move these things ASAP

Does the JR bag scratch your tank?

My tank never showed signs. The magnets are in pockets and the bottom is rubber.

Taking offers on both. They are on eBay but I will end auction early if somebody on here wants either or both. I'd take 80 shipped for both.

i have the joe rocket hammerhead tank bag(one size bigger than this one) i haven't got any new scratches on my tank, but i am very careful not to slide but to lift the magnets off. my tank bag has been one of the best purchases yet!

@evil - going to research tail bags a bit, shoot me a pm with a price shipped(to 24141) for just the motocentric bag, thanks. ryan

Also just be careful where you store a magnetic bag. First one I had picked up junk off my workbench, and those little shavings etc were hard to get off the magnet points. I now stick all my my magnetic bags to the side of the refridgerator we have in our garage when they are not on the bike.
