Don't do what I did and try to peel the warning decal off the top of the left fairing half. It damaged the black decal underneath. First I peeled the black (both sides) off and found slightly less than perfect paint underneath. a little 1500 grit paper and polish took care of that but i decided i wanted the original look back. Suzuki does NOT list these decals separately for the 2006 so i ordered them from a different year. Sprayed soapy water on the surface and floated the new decals on..........lots of smoothing with credit card and paper towel. With the paint underneath in better shape the decals now look better than new - they look like satin black paint. You'll take more time than the guy in the factory and it will look much better.
Bottom line - not sure it's worth risking damaging the black decal to peel off the warning sticker.
Not sure what black decal you are talking about. Flick didn't have any decals on decals. Esp. on the fairing. :dunno_black:

Me either. My faring had 2 warning type decals on either side of the flat part of the faring (the top I guess you could say) and they came off quite easily when I did it. Do you happen to have any pics to go along with your post for us to visualize?
I had the same thing happen to me on the same side and same label. Lucky for me I only nicked the black decal which was easier repair with a little black marker.
Some members here don't have the black decal ontop of the fairs, mine is a 2009 so I think it's only on certain years.
Glad to hear your turned your problem around. :woohoo:
It's 3 or 4 depending on side see link:
