Title: WTB: Widder Electric Gloves
Post by: TonyKZ1 on September 21, 2011, 07:04:46 AM
I'm looking for a pair of widder heated gloves. I normally wear size med - large gloves but since I've been told that they can run about 2 sizes larger, I guess I'm looking for a size small. I'm currently using a Widder vest that works pretty good. I know that Widder has been out of business for a few years, but thought I see if anyone had a pair they weren't using back in the closet or somewhere.
Thanks, Tony

ps. I also might be interested in a size 46 vest, a size smaller than the 48 that I'm currently wearing, as the vests seem to work better if they're snug.

Thanks for the reply, it's a one year only paint scheme, 1989. Unfortunately back in Oct 2009, I was involved in a multi-vehicle accident and the fairings and several other parts were badly damaged. So to rebuild it instead of totaling it out, I had to change to whatever parts I could find. I went with a 1998-99 "firecracker red" fairing and fuel tank along with a black front fender.

While I think it looks pretty good, I still liked the original white with red stripes a little more.

The firecracker red looks nice... but its a shame, I really liked the white.
