When did the tachometer switch from the mechanical type to the electrical pickup type. I have an 89 that I have put a 09 engine in and I have everything except the tachometer. Just off the top of my head I want to say it was like around the 00 to 01+ change up.. Let me see if I can find out.
Edit: Looks like at leas in the us they changed over from 04+.
