I was thinking something like this to replace my old grips when my clipons get here... what do you guys think? How exactly do they go on? would i have to cut off the disk thats on the thumb side of the throttle tube or would that just all get replaced?

Damn those look nice. I'd assume they're rather uncomfortable though

They look just like some in the back of my bike magazine, that are advertized as the most comfortable ever..
I don't think I'll ever give up my foam grips.

i was looking at ordering some like that from overseas. they look cool. I think with good gloves and a loose grip you would be fine.

i havent ordered mine because i just stripped my bike to the frame and am stripping and powder coating everything so mine wont be ready until spring more than likely

I hate them aluminum grips ... they look super cool on cruisers especially, but they in winter never warm up, your hand freezes ...
Cool.
