Title: question about front rim

I want to eventually swap my rear rim for a katana rim and wider tire but i also want to swap the front rim with the matching katana. i see all kinds of info on swapping the rear but nothing for front. anyone know or got anything

Older Katana rear wheels match the GS front wheel. You can replace the GS front wheel with the newer Katana front if you use a newer Katana rear.

close but maybe i should have been more specific.

Im going to add a 98+ Kat straight spoked rear rim for use of a wider tire. Thus i want a 98+ matching Kat front rim

However, in the link and in post 4 says it will work so thanks

I told you the older Katana wheel matches your GS500 front, and you can put the newer Katana front wheel on to match the newer Katana rear wheel if you want, plus a link to a thread that confirmed this so you could be more certain that what I was telling you was indeed correct.

How much CLOSER do you need  :dunno_black:
