I finally found some time to tackle my next project: Mounting the stock headlight and flashers from my 07 DRZ SM. Last week I completed the tail tidy. :woohoo: Check it out at this link:

I had to put the headlight mount bracket upside down to reach the optimal height for the headlight. The DRZ bracket didn't fit the GS, so some imagination was in order to make the GS bracket work. I was able to secure the headlight by bolting the light in the fairing and the fairing to the bracket. The flashers were pretty easy, just an addition drill hole. The project was a success, take a look... :thumb:

Thanks so much! I thought the same about the square light, btw...I'm a girl. lol
:thumb: Well done! That looks great!
looks great! definitely gets boring seeing the same ol' round light upfront haha. which is one of the reasons i went with big duals, but i really like the look of the DRZ's light and fairing on the front end!
also, in the last photo- it looks like the gauges fit really well inside the drz fairing!
well done

Hey steezin & weezin!
Thanks! I really didn't like the stock lighting on the DRZ, but it looks great on the GS!!! The fairing fits like a DREAM, couldn't have designed it better myself, lol!
