Title: No Compression
Post by: schwannman on October 02, 2011, 01:52:33 PM
I recently picked up a 1994 GS500 that only runs on one cylinder, i got a compression gauge on it and the left cylinder has about 100psi and the right side could barely move the needle. i took the valve cover off and on the compression stroke of the left cylinder/intake of the right i can hear a hissing hoise coming from the engine, it only does it on that stroke, once every two revolutions. i can't pinpoint where it's coming from any suggestions? thanks in advanced.

What are your valve clearances on the right cylinder?
