Title: WTB: a crappy "F" seat
Post by: adidasguy on October 19, 2011, 12:49:33 PM
Going to order a custom seat with heater for Suzi. I can pay about €200 for them to provide a base, lose a €20 deposit if I send them one back after I get the seat or send them one and not lose any deposit.

So.... anyone got a crappy "F" seat? the cheaper the better. Only needs to have a good base. I have bumpers if any are missing. Top can be trashed all over - it will be removed and replaced.

Going all out for a gel, heated seat since we're getting into colder weather. With a LiFe battery and MosFet regulator, I think I will have enough good oomph for a heated seat and never have to worry about anything going out or getting stressed too much.

Going to Seattle, or if anyone is in France or Europe,  I can have you send it directly to the company and save us all some money.

Cheapest I saw on ebay was $29+$15 p&h. Would rather help out a fellow GS'r before I buy from someone else.

I'm thinking of this. Opinions?
GS500F for stitching. Was going to add "adidasguy" but that would make the seat un-sellable in the future.

I was looking at these the other day... very interested to see how the finished product looks!!  Also, once you get your seat, if you wouldn't mind posting a small write up of your experience I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
