Hey guys,
Read the rear brake thread but figured I'd start a new topic for this specific situation.
My rear brake always began engaging with just a little pressure on the pedal (I know for sure because it has that awsome squeak to tell you it's working). So tonight I took the bike out and I'm hitting the rear brake like normal and am hearing nothing. After riding around and just using the rear I'm finding I have to push the pedal pretty much to the stop until it engages, and then it's probably only 50% of full power, if that.
The only thing that was done was yesterday I unbolted the bracket that holds the pedal/cylinder/peg to inspect something unrelated to the brake, but I can't imagine anything could have happened?
Any thoughts on this one? I'm kind of scratching my head over here.
Undo the three bolt near the right peg to get at the brake adjustment and make sure all is well there. You'll needto take the plate off to get at it-hence the three bolts.

Also check your resivour is at the right level and the caliper bleed nipple is nipped up tight.
Sounds like air in the brake line, assuming everything was reassembled correctly. Check fluid level and bleed it.
Pump the brake a few times to restore pressure.
