They should all be gloves. Just saying.
I didn't hit them, not even close. But shaZam!
A couple weeks ago I was riding in Alabama when I saw a turkey by a mailbox. I was the 4th bike in a group of 6 and the guys in front of me said they never recognized it. One guy said he saw it but thought it was full trash bag (it must have been the garbage day in that neighborhood since there were a few bags out).
But yeah, it's that time of year for the deer rut. Makes them extra unpredictable.
It is rutting season and they'll be out on the roads more often. Be wary. Be even more wary at dawn or dusk when they are more active.

i have a dozen of them go through my yard every morning. and afternoon. since gunfire is VERY illegal inside city limits, ill grab a crossbow. there is no season on private property.
I killed a 10pt buck with my 9mm ruger a couple weeks ago.
A radio station here in northern VA said that according to statistics "75% of all Deer related Car deaths occur of the next four weeks."
