Title: GS500 2001 Frame mounted Vacuum operated petcock rebuild parts.
Post by: tboyer on October 31, 2011, 09:38:37 PM
Hello to all,

I have spent many hours looking for rebuild info for the vac-operated frame mounted petcock. Mostly, I find the advise is to remove and replace.

Go here:

http://www.darkhorsemotorcycleparts.com/fuel-petcock-lever-gasket-for-kawasaki-measurements-are-23-00mm-x-2-38mm/

It's the seat valve gasket for a Kawi' and its the same part that's in my current Suzi. I measured mine and I have a 23mm by 2.3mm. I guess the .08mm
is the amount of compression.
There is another kit that looks to be the complete vacuum and valve sides of the same petcock, less the plastic frame that separates the two diaphragms. If I find that link again, I will post it. It was a Kawi' rebuild part as well. A ZX-600 I believe.

I hope this is found helpful.
