Title: 2009 Damper on a 2007?

I'm rebuilding a 2007 GS 500F that I crashed   :embarrassed: , cracked my front left damper and tore the left plastics to nothing. I've found some really good front forks at a salvage yard but they would be off of a 2009 GS. Any help on if these would work with a 2007?
