Title: tail converson
Post by: knowles on November 08, 2011, 12:26:00 AM
Before anyone gets upset.
I know people have talked about changing plastics and seats alot. I want to switch my 89 tail for a 05 gsxr 1000 tail minus the seat. I only want to do the plastics and brake, and turn signals. I plan on redoing my seat to conform to the new plastics and then have it recpvered by a pro. Has anyone done this before on here and have pictures about it. I have seen a lot of people talk about it but no pictures of it. Also if someone has had some experience working with seat pans. If i have missed the thread where someone went over it please let me know. I plan on doing this for a winter project, and no I not going to go buy a R1.

Just saw this one from the UK. I might have to get one. It is shown on a GS500 frame (must be "E" frame because it is silver). A little over $300 shipped.

Nice work Eddy. What bike are those plastics from? I'm idly looking at race glass for my GS.
