Title: Chain Question
Post by: gsgonzalez on December 01, 2011, 02:31:29 AM
Hi All,
I have a quick question with regards to my drive chain.
When looking at the top section of the chain (near the footpegs) it seems that the chain is rubbing against some sort of rubber "thingy" (im sure thats the technical term for it :) )
I am not sure if this is how the chain should be sitting as I would think the rubbing would wear out the rubber piece, although my chain is tightened within spec and i maintain it as per guidelines.
Som photos of the area I am referring to are below. Should the chain be rubbing against this thing? or should it be suspended above it?
