Most likely going to have fresh oil, filter, plugs, & gas in the bike before my new exhaust.
Want to get it started just to make certain I didnt mess anything up.
Would it be safe for the bike to start it without any exhaust on at all???
I dont care about noise.
Just wanna make sure if I can or not.
A missing slip-on is one thing, but no pipe at all is supposedly bad for exhaust valves (cold air can warp them), never tried it to find out.
No muffler = safe for a while
No header or ANY pipe = Extremely unsafe for the motor and poses a potential fire hazard

I went out today with no muffler. I also had earplugs though cause it is raucously loud. I wouldn't run an engine with no header at all though. Tombstone I have a full GS exhaust if you need one. (?) I'm not doing anything with it, just using it for wall decoration.

but I've already sent payment to Steezin for one.
Just waitin on him to get less busy and cut the stock muffler off and send it my way :)
but this close to being done with my winter work has me antsy to at least get her started, which is why I asked this Q.
