SO, for a little bit of ghey bromance, heres to adidas guy!
He helped me, and I see him helping like, half of the rest of the forum...
We appreciate you brother!
+1
Adidas is a cool guy and has supplied with some needed (and un-needed) parts.
Not to thread jack but I have been helped out a lot by Jared on here and I saw weedahoe hook a guy up with a needed part for free recently. There are quite a few good guys here :thumb:

We should start a fund so he can get psychiatric help for his GS hoarding problem. I figure the money and time he's saved all of us, it's the least we can do... :icon_lol:
Lol...
Bite not the hand that feeds you.
If we all donate 10 bucks to him, he will continue searching out awesome finds and spreading the wealth to the rest of the community!
You should ship yourself to florida, I need someone to wrench with. Whats better than an IT guy with a motorcycle?

Two IT guys with motorcycles.
You rock, dude!
My thanks to him as well.
Kickstand gave out on my bike the other day (something was rusted, repaired the entire thing, works fine now) and fell on the clutch lever side. The bar-end sliders saved my fairing (save a few minor scratches near the top), lights, and mirrors, but didn't save my clutch lever which is now an impromptu shorty. Scratched up my crankcase a bit more too, but it's metal. As long as it's not cracked I could care less.
I'll be using his video to make sure I hook up all the clutch lever electronics correctly. Thanks for posting the videos.
Adidasguy is definitely a standup guy, great example to follow. He went out of his way to hook me up with some fairing bolts......you all are cool guys on this thread.
As a new member of the forum, adidasguy has been very welcoming, and helpful with diagnosing my running issues. Unfortunately, he's not close to enough to actually give me a hand, as I'm still having issues! But I'm thankful regardless. :thumb:
+1 for having 3 gs's in his garage and enough parts for 300.
Just today I got help on a bar end weight atachment. He's sending the part asking only for a contribution to GStwin in his name. Gladly done sir.
Adidas is a great guy altogether. He is a real stand-up kind of guy with an abundant amount of knowledge when it comes to the GS. He maybe heading over and down to S. Florida and if he does and meets up with me I'm buying him dinner.
:D Thank s Adidas
Totally agree. I sent him a PM one evening asking for help and he responded in like 10 seconds. His videos are very helpful, as are many of his posts. Invaluable asset to the forum for sure.
He was the one who led me to the solution to my disrepair woes! For that, i am quite grateful.
he helped me do something as simple as a clutch lever replacement.. :')
now, if he could do a full video on carb removal/cleaning/installation then he would be truly fit for a king
rayshon,
I have been asking for one of those for about 3 months now. That would truly be a great video
Can I finally say it here? 'adidas' that's a hell of a mug!
a MUCH needed thread!
adidasguy has been a great inspiration since i started into the GS beginning of last year- with help, parts, knowledge and a wealth of appreciate for these amazin machines!
I'll get in on this.
Being that I don't even own a Gs, Adidas has helped me out numerous times. Part discrepancies, electrical gremlins, cross referencing between models, etc, he's been one of the first to jump on board with his knowledge. Stand up character all around. Thanks man!
I am flattered by all the support. (http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb442/adidasguy/Videos/tiphat.gif)
Does this mean I am free to call the 1989 (and Euro ones) clip-on "clip-ons" freely from now on? (http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb442/adidasguy/Videos/smiley-eatdrink002.gif)

I have this ongoing joke with my wife and a few friends ...
Who makes the second best motorcycle mechanic - a software engineer.
Who makes the second best electrician - a software engineer.
Who makes the second best audio repairman - A software engineer.
The joke is based on the fact that software engineers can sit on the net all day and figure out and print reams of paper to do just about anything.
There are times I have trumped my auto mechanic, the mitsu diamante sprung a heater core leak. I drop off the car with the mechanic, he said he was going to pull the dash apart the next day, and I get home and furiously google ... find forums where after 130 pages of people griping about this issue, someone says to use bars leaks with ginger. Apparently it swells when dry.
We did and it stopped it from leaking.
I cannot count the number of times the forums have precisely pointed out the problem in a myriad of things ...
Cool.
Buddha.

x2. I just stumbled across your videos the other day. They are awesome! I need to replace both my clutch and brake levers, and when I do, your videos will be the perfect walkthrough! (Also, I'll probably end up buying them from you too, lol.)
